Having an agent hammer a sign in your lawn and waiting for their pager to go off does not work in today's market.
ESPECIALLY CALABOGIE! And, if by chance it does, you can be sure it won't be in a timely fashion.
This site is designed to bring motivated, realistic sellers and qualified buyers together who otherwise would never connect.
In it's first months operation (December 2006!) this site received approximately 1,000 visits from all over North America and around the world. Ten percent of these were from the United States and we can throw Britain, Denmark and even Japan into the mix. The site has generated several real buyers from Toronto and Ottawa in this short time. These people don't have time to play games or window shop. They just want to "get it done".
You can't sell your property to someone who doesn't know it's for sale!
This site works! Remember, you're on it!
So, before you list your property, ask your agent what tools he's brought, besides his hammer........
Or just call Shelley.

Calabogie is a small resort town approximately 50 minutes west of Ottawa, Canada’s Capital. The area got it’s start in the mid 1800’s as a logging town. The lake itself was used to sort the logs before being sent down the Madawaska River on their way to various mills along the Ottawa River. Now Calabogie is all about recreation! This unspoiled, undiscovered area boasts 150 bodies of water within a 10 mile radius. People come here from all over North America to enjoy year round fresh air experiences.
The town is situated on Calabogie Lake which is good for boating, swimming and jet-skiing. The lake covers an area of 3250 acres and has a depth of approximately 100 feet. It is abundant with various fish, such as small & large mouth bass, pike and is famous for it's "fighting walleye" (pickerel).
Skiers will also be delighted with Calabogie Peaks ski hill which offers great skiing & snow boarding and has the steepest vertical drop in Ontario. You can also go 4-wheeling and snowmobiling on our well groomed trails, the major one being the famous K&P trail.
Hunting is another favorite, and Calabogie accommodates with access to thousand of acres of Crown Land and affordable accommodation.
Even sport’s car enthusiasts are not forgotten here. Calabogie Motor Sports is now open and is the only professional race track built in Canada in the past quarter century. The town is full of exotic cars throughout the racing season.
Golf is a popular draw as we offer a 27 hole championship golf course at the Highlands overlooking the lake.
After your busy day is done, you can get a fabulous meal at any of our casual or fine dining establishments.
(We also have the best pizza in the world, at Calabogie Pizzeria!)
